Need Our Support?
Hope Productions Foundation’s mission is to provide resources to children and youth charities to ensure sustainability, viability and awareness. We achieve our mission by providing fundraising and marketing resources and trainings, at no charge, to strengthen nonprofit organizations and benefit children and youth through sustainable, large scale, profitable events.
The Hope Productions Foundation’s Board of Directors has specified their charitable giving focus based on the criteria listed below:
Applicants must benefit children in the greater Sacramento area, have an annual budget under $2,000,000 and fall in to one of our six charitable giving categories:
- Advocacy
- At-Risk Youth
- Education
- Illness/Research
- Wellness
- Youth Development
Our six Nonprofit Partners have been selected for a three year term of 2009 – 2011. Please check back in June 2011 when we will select six new Nonprofit Partners.
In May 2011, Hope Productions Foundation will host its annual Walk ‘N Rock for Kids event in Sacramento. The event kicks off with a community morning 5K walk involving families, local businesses, walk teams and supporters and wraps up with a live concert under the stars at Raley Field. Through these two events, there will be heightened exposure for the chosen Nonprofit Affiiate charities as well as educational training sessions. The selected Nonprofit Affiliates will be trained, at no charge, in the finer points of event, volunteer and fundraising management learning first-hand how to maximize their relationships with their constituents, volunteers and donors.
Training:
- 1 day of educational training in January 2011 led by Hope Productions Foundation Staff covering Business/Fund Development training sessions for all staff and board members
- Opportunities to network with nonprofits peers, corporate partners and community members
- Monthly Vistage CEO leadership session
- Training on utilizing the walknrock.org website
- Walk Kick-off breakfast to motivate your walk teams
Resources:
- Collateral material: ie; save the date postcards, brochures, posters, team captain handbooks and envelopes
- Vistage Leadership Program
- Salesforce database system availability
- Quest vaulting services availability
Revenue:
- All dollars raised during walk minus internet fees.
Awareness:
- Inclusion on collateral pieces
- Link on the Hope Productions Foundation website and highlighted on the walknrock.org website
- Table for networking and awareness at the morning walk portion of the event
Application Process:
Applications have been accepted for 2011, please check back in June 2011.
Applications are accepted June 7th through July 16, 2010.
The acceptance process for Nonprofit Affiliates will be as follows:
- June 7th –July 16th Applications accepted
- July 16th – July 26th The Hope Productions Foundation Nonprofit Alliance Committee will assess the applications and prepare a submission report for the Board of Directors.
- August 20th HPF Board Meeting-The Board of Directors will review the application submission report prepared by the Nonprofit Alliance Committee, execute open discussion among members and perform a thorough evaluation.
- August 27th The Board of Directors will notify Hope Productions Staff of the approved chosen Nonprofit Affiliates
- September 3rd All approved Nonprofit Affiliates will receive a phone call as well as a formal acceptance letters. All other nonprofits will be notified by mail as well.
