Hope Productions Foundation’s mission is to provide resources to children and youth charities to ensure sustainability, viability and awareness. We achieve our mission by providing leadership training and guidance for nonprofits to improve their marketing, fundraising, partnerships and board cultivation, culminating with a large-scale event, so they may become more efficient and increase their potential for long-term sustainability, at no charge.

 

The Hope Productions Foundation’s Board of Directors has specified their charitable giving focus based on the criteria listed below:

 

Applicants must benefit children in the greater Sacramento area, have an annual budget under $2,000,000 and fall in to one of our seven charitable giving categories:

  • Advocacy
  • Arts
  • At-Risk Youth
  • Education
  • Illness/Research
  • Wellness
  • Youth Development

Nonprofit Partners:

Nonprofit Partners are accepted in to our program for a two year commitment. Applicants must be a current Nonprofit Affiliate.

 

Nonprofit Partner Benefits:

Educational Training:

  • Eight months of leadership, business and fund development training for staff and board members
  • Vistage Leadership Training for the nonprofit CEO
  • Training on the official Walk ‘N Rock for Kids website as well as how to recruit, cultivate, and motivate walk teams
  • Walk Team Captain Kick-off event
  • Opportunities to network with nonprofits, corporate partners and community members monthly

Walk Team Recruitment/Revenue:

  • Hope Productions Foundation staff assistance with the event walk website and walk team kick-off presentations
  • All dollars your nonprofit raises through the walk portion of the event minus online processing fees.

Awareness:

  • Logo inclusion on Walk ‘N Rock for Kids collateral materials
  • A supply of collateral materials- save-the-dates, posters, brochures & fundraising envelopes for distribution
  • Listing and link on Hope Productions Foundation website and highlighted on the walknrock.org event website
  • Interactive booth opportunity during morning walk portion of the event

Additional Resources:

  • Opportunity to utilize Salesforce database system at no charge
  • Opportunity to utilize Quest vaulting services at no charge

Nonprofit Affiliates:

Nonprofit Affiliates are accepted in to our program for a one year commitment and may reapply yearly.

 

Nonprofit Affiliates Benefits:

Educational Training:

  • 1 day of educational training covering business and fund development for all staff and board members
  • Quarterly CEO Roundtable Leadership Training Program
  • Training on the official Walk ‘N Rock for Kids website as well as how to recruit, cultivate, and motivate walk teams
  • Walk Team Captain Kick-off event
  • Opportunities to network with nonprofits, corporate partners and community members

Walk Team Recruitment/Revenue:

Application Process:

 

The deadline for the Nonprofit Affiliate applications has been extended to August 1st.

Nonprofit Affiliate Application

 

Application Timeline:

  • June 20th –August 1st Applications accepted (The deadline for the Nonprofit Affiliate applications has been extended to August 1st).
  • July 18th – August 19th The Hope Productions Foundation Program Department and Nonprofit Alliance Committee will assess the applications and prepare a submission report for the Board of Directors.
  • August 23rd The Board of Directors will review the application submission report, execute open discussion among members and perform a thorough evaluation.
  • August 29th The Board of Directors will notify Hope Productions Program Staff of the approved seven (7) Nonprofit Partners and fourteen (14) Nonprofit Affiliates.
  • September 2nd All approved Nonprofit Partners and Affiliates will receive a phone call as well as a formal acceptance letter. All other nonprofit applicants will be notified by mail no later than Friday, September 9, 2011.
